Pop Fizz Travel: Millennium Park

I try not to play favorites with pieces in my closet, but sometimes it’s really just too hard not to.

Like with this romper. I know the price tag might scare you (check out some of my other favorites below – most under $150), but I bought it in celebration of a career accomplishment as a little “treat yo’self” present 😉 Between the pretty floral print, the swiss dot texture, and the comfort level – it’s pretty much the most perfect thing I’ve ever put on my body.

Now I know I’ve probably said every piece I own is a “favorite” at some point (like in this post), but I think this romper takes the cake because it means something to me – and it’s really just so pretty. I was really excited that I was able to take it to Chicago with me last week!

Millenium Park was on the top of my list of places to see when I was in the Windy City – luckily it was the shortest walk from our hotel. So when Melissa suggested we shoot this look there, I was all about it. And I LOVE how the photos turned out!

The park, in some ways, reminded me of Central Park (I shot another feminine look there recently)….only it was a quarter of the size. I just love the little patch of greenery smack dab in the middle of a city. It was really beautiful – and kind of fun to be a tourist in a new city! It’s SO different from New York, yet kind of similar in the sense that people still head to those touristy spots!
