Veuve’ing

If you only learn one thing about me, let it be this: I love Veuve Clicquot. Seriously. Any time, any place, you can hand me a bottle of that beautiful yellow label and I will be the happiest girl in the world.

That’s why I had to attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo ClassicIt was the perfect summer event, and I’m so happy I got to spend time with my friend Allie who recently moved to the city. The day started at about 10am, when we hopped on a ferry and headed over to Liberty State Park. I’m so happy I brought flats because there was a 20 minute walk from the ferry to the match.

Once inside, we got some food at the trucks, picked up a towel to sit on and made our way to the closest shade (it was HOT out, I wish I was wearing this). To be honest, I didn’t pay much attention to the match. I was more concerned with what was going on in Allie’s life, finishing my personal bottle of Veuve (as if that was hard for me), and staying cool. I did get up to do the traditional divot stomping, so that was fun;)
