I think I’m going to deem 2017 as the Year of Stylish Hats.
THE LOOK | green tunic sweater, ripped jeans, chanel flats (similar), pom pom beanie (similar), black bag c/o (similar), sunglasses (identical)
I’ve definitely worn my fair share of hats and beanies on Pink Champagne Problems, but now I’m wearing them more than ever….as in almost every single day. Well, no, definitely every single day since I wear one during my commute. And since I’ve been wearing them every day (usually this easy one), I’m really big on finding stylish hats that will also keep me warm.
This look (and hat) is what you can typically find me in on any given weekend.
On this weekend in particular, Matt and I were out and about all morning the day after Christmas, and decided to take some pictures. Matt is from Westchester, which also happens to be where some of my family is from, so I love going up there! It’s a quick train ride from the city, so we often go there to hang out with his parents or my cousins. The area itself is beautiful and some of my favorite restaurants are there (like Blue Moon, which happens to be a short distance from where we shot this look).
After we took photos, we headed to get some food and then went to see the new Star Wars movie (which was a deal I proposed when I asked him to take pictures, #compromise). Shockingly, I liked it a lot – and the weekend after that we watched Episodes 4, 5, and 6!
That’s really how my weekends go – I used to be huge on going out, but now I’m way more low key (so lucky Matt is too). That’s why most of my looks are super casual like this one! I love being comfortable, which is why I tend to wear oversized sweaters (also dying over this off the shoulder one) and shirts. I throw on my cute and stylish hats usually for two reasons: 1. It’s cold or 2. My hair is dirty AF.

YES! I never used to to be a hat gal, but now I LOVE them! I’m thinking of getting a leopard beanie like yours! You are definitely a style inspiration, Dana!
PS: I was thinking for content ideas, maybe you could do something on what to wear on a first date 🙂 or a first formal interview, and possibly a first casual interview, and so on. I don’t know why dressing for occasions is such a challenge for me, so I know I would definitely find something like from you super duper helpful!:D
It took me a while to realize how much I love hats and beanies! You should give it a try!
And LOVE these ideas, I’ll definitely try look come up with some looks 🙂
Such a cute hat, and that sweater is so perfect!

XX Amy, Coffee Beans and Bobby Pins
Thank you, Amy! It is SO cozy!
I LOVE your blog, Xx
I’m loving this oversize sweater! Beanies are such a lifesaver when you’re hair is just a little bit past the point where no dry shampoo can help you. haha
xx Tess | Sequins are the New Black
Thanks, Tess! And yeah, you know it’s bad when dry shampoo doesn’t help anymore! 😉
You can always find me with a cozy hat on!
RIGHT!? They’re great! Xx
