Flatiron and Fringe

Flatiron might be one of my favorite places in New York City.

Not just because of the iconic building that is in the heart of the area, but because of the people and things to do. And obviously my favorite place in the world is on 19th

If you’re looking to hang out in Flatiron, there’s everything and more to do: restaurants like Breecher’s Handmade Cheese and Maison Kayser, shop at Club Monaco (plus coffee at Toby’s Estate) and Banana Republic, and people watching at Madison Square Park (…with a milkshake from Shake Shack).

Or just walk and find something else you want to do 😉 The possibilities are endless in Flatiron.

I like to think that my style is like the Flatiron: Casual but some element of fun always comes into play. So basically this outfit. I always love wearing denim with a white top: tanks, button ups, and now this off-the-shoulder top. As classic as that kind of look is, I do love incorporating other things into outfits.

When I laid eyes on these heels, I couldn’t resist (if you couldn’t tell from this post). I knew I couldn’t wear them with something that was super loud, so a grabbed this top with my favorite Citizens of Humanity jeans and almost headed out the door for work. Until I walked by this new scarf that I received as a surprise for my birthday!

The colors are the epitome of summer and the tassels are an added bonus. Don’t you think? Since I’m usually a neutral kind of girl, I try to incorporate color in different ways – whether it’s jewelry or a bright red lip…and in this case, a ridiculously fun scarf.

Kate Spade kills it, no?
