Topshop Printed Dress

Today we’re going to talk about two things: this look and SoulCycle.

I first saw this dress on Blair Eadie, and thought it was different for me, so I decided to buy it. When I was ordering it, I randomly picked a size because Topshop sizes confuse me, and just prayed it worked – I’m wearing a size 4 (US 0-2).

When I tried it on, I had mixed feelings – I liked the way it fit my body but wish it was a liiiiiiiittle shorter so it was more of a true midi dress and less of maxi dress.

Ultimate short girl problems, no?

But oh well, throw on a bit of a heel and it works. I really loved how it flowed in the wind…..except when you’re walking over a subway grate and there’s a biiiiiig gust of hot air. Sorry fellow New Yorkers, my bad 😉

And now, onto SoulCycle. Last night I literally fell in love with that community all over again. It was pretty cool.

If you didn’t know (based on my Twitter and Instagram) by now, I basically only ride with Mantas *praise hands emoji*. If you haven’t taken a class with him (or at SoulCycle ever), then highly recommend getting your butt onto a bike in his class – I’m there on Mondays and Wednesdays @ 6:30…and occasionally on Saturdays, just saying 😉 He’s pretty badass…and might love tequila more than I do (#SHOCKER).

Mantas is the instructor that will make you see what this “hype” is all about. He will push you past your limits. He will get in your face and turn up your resistance. He will make you leave class drenched in sweat as if you just got out of the pool. And he will make you smile at some point during class – during your climb, your sprint, your weights – it will happen. Oh and his playlists are freakin’ awesome. So go book a bike.

….no this post wasn’t sponsored by Mantas 😉

But yeah, last night, I really fell in love with how I felt. You know where you just gave 110% in a class and succeeded? That’s how I felt. And that’s why I keep getting my butt on a bike – plus tap backs are really fun.

OK. That was a lot. But it’s Thursday. And I have a lot to say. As usual.

Now who’s ready for the weekend?! *RAISES BOTH HANDS*
