Although we can still very much feel summer’s presence (aka it’s still hot AF), I’m taking a break from summer content to chat about my favorite season, FALL!
Fall is my favorite season for SO many reasons: football, hockey, apple picking, Halloween, Thanksgiving – you know, the basics 😉 But I really just love the fashion that comes with the fall season. Yes, some of my favorite outfits were from summer (like this post here), but fall offers SO much more. Layers, textures, patterns, there’s a lot to work with.
That’s why I was so excited when the W by Worth team invited me to come look at their new Fall 2016 collection! I tried on a bunch of things (like this dress and this top – still so obsessed with them!), but my eye kept wandering to this suede top and leather pants combo. It’s definitely not something I usually gravitate towards, but I thought the blue hues just looked so perfect together! I couldn’t resist.
Both of these pieces are going to be staples for the upcoming season. I love the suede top – also comes in a fun orange color – because it’s loose enough to layer (picture it with a white button down underneath for extra warmth), but also looks cute with minimal accessories (maybe add a neck scarf)! And then these pants. I mean, how great are they? I totally thought I was going to have a Ross-from-Friends moment in them, but they’re actually SUPER easy to wear…and SO comfortable! I love the ponte on the back side, so they’re a little more forgiving. The fact that they’re navy and not black makes them one of the more unique pieces in my closet – so obviously going to take advantage of them this fall!
