Last Of The Whites

No freakin’ way are we already at the end of August. Didn’t summer like JUST begin?

The whole “no white after Labor Day” rule is kind of like a metaphor for a lot of things that have to do with summer ending. Much like a new year, the summer is all about leaving whatever you want behind and keeping the memories.

Sure, there were a ton of great things that happened this summer, but there were also a lot of not-so-good things. The good things is what I’ll have great memories of for years to come, and I’ll always remember how things were this past summer. As for the not-so-good things, I’ll be sure to leave them behind and never look back.

Regardless, just like I’m sad to put away my summer dresses, I’m never happy to see summer go. But I’m going to embrace taking out some of my favorite cashmere sweaters and ready for whatever is going to come next.

Until then, I’ll be soaking up some more sunny days and enjoying my last few Summer Fridays. And the best way to end summer? We’re leaving for my sister’s bachelorette party tomorrow morning and I am STOKED. We’re heading to Austin, TX and if you saw the itinerary for the trip, you’d ask me how 9 girls are going to survive 😉 Be sure you’re following along on Snapchat (danamannarino) for all of the trip’s shenanigans!
