As I sit here writing this post, I’m in my backyard and it’s well-over 90 degrees…and probably feels like 105. It’s safe to say that I’m OFFICIALLY over summer. DONE. OVER. GOODBYE. SEE YA NEVER.
…but then I get to thinking about weekends in the Hamptons.
As much as I’m ready to wear leather pants and layers, I’m going to miss summer. Especially Hamptons weekends (Although when I look at this post from Allie’s weekend in the Fall, I’m pretty excited for that too ;)). But let’s face it, I made some of THE best memories this summer – most of them in the Hamptons.
Fun story about this top (currently sold out, but here’s the solid white version) — one morning we were getting iced coffee and bagels and a girl was wearing this top. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t stop staring at her and kept telling the girls how much I adored it. I don’t know why I assumed it was Zara, so I was sure I wasn’t going to find it. Then we started walking through the town of Easthampton (which, by the way, has the best shopping), and we walked into Club Monaco – and this top was just hanging there, so perfectly. I knew it was meant to be…so I purchased it as a birthday gift to myself. And now I wear it WAY more than I should 😉
