NOT A PINK CHAMPAGNE PROBLEM

You know, Pink Champagne Problems was always meant to be a little joke. What exactly is a “champagne problem”? It’s the need to make a decision between alternatives that are both desirable. So basically, #basicbetchproblems or #firstworldproblems – I know a lot of the times that seems ridiculous when you think about what’s going on in the world. But hey, sometimes you just need to laugh at yourself.

Around this time of the year, I get a little emotional when I think about all of the amazing people and opportunities I have in my life. Today, I wanted to share a few things with you all – I always think it’s great to get a little personal on the blog!

I’m thankful for my family – They’re always encouraging me to go after what I want and do not take no for an answer. They’re my biggest fans and I couldn’t be more blessed to have them in my life.

I’m thankful for my friends – I’m lucky enough that I met 7 amazing girls in high school that have been my rocks since the day I met them. We have an absolute unbreakable bond and I can’t picture life without them.

I’m thankful for my person – The second after I left Matt after our first date (and many fireball shots), I knew he was going to be special. He’s always supporting this little blog of mine and truly knows how to make me smile uncontrollably.

I’m thankful for my career – I could not have gotten a better job out of college. My bosses and coworkers have taught me so much in the year and a half that I’ve been at Perry Ellis, and they’ve really become good friends. I love what I do and it really makes getting up in the morning that much easier.

I’m thankful for my health – Recently, I stumbled upon a company called Headbands of Hope and it really hit me hard. Yeah, their headbands are freakin’ adorable (see above photo), but did you know that each headband purchased another headband is given to a little girl battling cancer. It really doesn’t seem like much, but it really makes you appreciate your health and wish you could do more for these kids.

I’m thankful for the little things – Whether it’s popping a bottle of champagne for no reason or just catching the subway before its doors close in your face, the little things really do add up.

I’m thankful for YOU –  Seriously, when I started this little blog my junior year of college, I never thought I’d still be doing it almost 2 years after graduating. Without the support and love I get from you, I wouldn’t have this little space anymore. As always, thank you for everything. I’m so happy I get to know you all through this crazy blog world!
