I don’t think there’s anything better than getting dressed up.
Oh, except when it’s 20 degrees plus icy grounds and gusty winds. But hey, gotta do it for the blog, right?
I put this look together for one reason: Valentine’s Day. Whether it’s a date night with your significant other or dinner with your best friends, this look will get you through the night.
Buuuuut if you’re wondering what my Valentine’s Day plans are — I’ll spend the morning at Kleinfeld Bridal watching my sister try on the first of the wedding gowns. Then, let’s be honest, bottomless brunch will probably follow. And my night will be ending with a handsome man….and my girlfriends.
Are you confused? I bet you are.
I’m obbbbviously talking about Christian Grey. Me and three of my best gal pals will be gushing and squealing (and probably laughing at the awkward moments) at the movies. There will be lots of wine involved (before and after). Overall, this might be the most exciting Valentine’s Day yet;)
Also, let’s talk about these freshwater pearls. I love a great pearl necklace…actually pearl anything. Obviously there’s something so classic about them, but I’ve never owned a pair of pearl earrings, let alone freshwater pearls. So when The Pearl Source offered to send me something, I had to go with the earrings.
Note: I might have ripped the packaging opened so fast that it was like Christmas morning. Oops. They’re the perfect size for my unusually small ears, and I just know I’ll wear them just as much as I wear my diamond studs.
If you’re interested in getting your own pair, you can find them here!
So are you wondering where all of these pieces are from? UHHH. You see what had happened was……..I was going through my (and my sister’s) closet and found pieces from years ago that literally haven’t seen the light of day in years. Don’t you love when that happens? 😉
