Weekends in New York City are always the best. Especially when you have nothing on your agenda….except a little lunch (well, not exactly) date at the cutest spot in the West Village.
Although Saturday was a little chilly, it was still really beautiful and sunny out. Allie and I ventured down and cross town from the Upper East Side to the West Village to try out this spot called Hamilton’s. As soon as I walked in, I knew this place was going to be pretty awesome (and Instagram-worthy, of course).
Our eyes skipped right over the food and went straight to the fountain section. We couldn’t decide on what we wanted, so we thought shakes and a classic banana split were a good idea 😉 And they sure were.
When it came time to pay the bill, I immediately opened up my Square Cash app. It’s seriously as easy as pushing a button…plus, I barely carry cash on me anymore.
Recently, I’ve become annoyed with Venmo and how long it takes to process your $$$ (plus seeing what people are sending/receiving is kind of creepy), so when I found out about Square Cash I knew I needed to give it a try. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to find people you need to exchange money with – you have a “cashtag” and that’s it. Mine, for example, is $DanaMannarino.
The design and interface is so easy to use and the money goes directly into your bank account within 24 hours (sometimes within seconds)! No fees, no account creating….what’s stopping you from using? If you need another little incentive, Square Cash gives you $5 (fo’ free) when you download the app and use this code: cash.me/app/STSCBCG
