When I worked at Kate Spade, their signature fragrance was twirl (now it’s Live Colorfully). And that was kind of our thing. We would wear fun dresses and playful skirts to work that made you want to twirl around all day. So that’s pretty much what we did.

Do you remember this outfit? Well, now I’m kind of on a midi skirt kick. They’re too playful, and I realized short girls can actually pull them off. *Insert hair flip emoji here. So honestly ask yourself this: what’s better than a skirt that you can twirl in?
The answer is nothing. Maybe a cashmere sweater. But it’s Spring.
So the midi skirt wins.
Another great thing about a midi skirt? You only have to shave a little bit of your leg 😉 BTW, I am way too lazy to shave my legs every day – it is such a hassle/inconvenience. But, I guess that’s a story for another day…or never. Mooooving right along.
On a less personal note, IT’S WEDNESDAY. Half way to the weekend. The rest of my week will consist of SoulCycle and playoff hockey. Two things that definitely do not look like they relate to this outfit. At all.
