These photos make me severely happy. And it’s not even because of tops with detailed sleeves.
THE LOOK | top, jeans, flats, sunnies (similar)
I think you could easily figure out why I love these pictures so much. I’ll give you a hint: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Although we shot these when it was still pretty cold and everything was still dead, I love how they turned out – you can see my absolute favorite place in the entire city: The Plaza.
The Plaza (to me) is quintessential New York City. You’ve seen it in Home Alone. You’ve heard about Eloise at the Plaza. But for me, it’s a lot more than just the perfect building for a New York City movie. I’ve had so many of THE best memories at this place. It started when I was young and my dad would take me and my sister to The Plaza for breakfast around Christmastime every year and then to FAO Schwartz for some shopping. My dad always tells me how he hated that there were no highchairs for me, so to get to The Plaza staff, he would let me run around the dining area. FYI, I used to talk to EVERYONE. Even if they didn’t speak English. I would just babble back and forth with them.
And then there was my 21st birthday. After a great night out celebrating, I headed back to The Plaza to spend the night. Waking up in New York City, overlooking Central Park, the day after I turned 21 years old, was really everything I could have imagined.
Oh, and it’s also a great place to change when you’re a blogger shooting 6 different looks in a day;) Like into tops with detailed sleeves and my favorite jeans.

Love those sleeves, but also the setting of these photos! The view of the Plaza will never get old, even after I’ve lived in NYC for a few years!
