Hi. I’m the girl that enjoys trends, but then kind of keeps wearing them even when they aren’t trendy anymore.
So muscle tees.
I think they became really big because of The Frankie Shop. And then I started seeing influencers wearing muscle tees. So obviously, I bought a muscle tee. Then I bought another muscle tee from my friend’s shop. And then a few months went by, and I was over them. Probably because all I want to do is wear sweaters in Fall/Winter.
When Spring rolled around in New York, I was REALLY feeling muscle tees. Luckily, LOFT actually produced some options. I was feeling blah just always throwing on a tank top. I especially love how they look paired with classic high rise denim. It really makes you feel like a cool girl (even though sometimes also a linebacker…but hey…a chic one).
And then I felt myself NEEDING (read: dramatic) a dress version…which LOFT also produced (it’s pretty sold out, so here’s a similar option).
I love the EASE of muscle tees and dresses. I decided to pair it with sneakers and a fun scarf to accessorize. I’ve also styled this dress with a baseball cap and then also with combat boots for a more chic look. It’s just a fun play on a simple, classic style.
