The Beauty Edit: November

A round up of favorite beauty products as of late!

Rosebud Salve

I’ve been using Rosebud Salve on my lips ever since my mom introduced it to me when I was in college. It’s super soothing on your lips and has a calming scent. I feel like it’s really old school, right?! But tried and true products are the best!

Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer

I have SUCH an issue with dry, itchy skin during the super cold and super hot months. Well, last year I was gifted Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer and it’s become a staple in my routine. If you hate putting on lotion after your shower, then this product is for you. Simply put the moisturizer on your WET (yup!) skin, and rub in — just pat with your towel to dry. I love that I don’t get that sticky feeling once I’m ready to put my pajamas on. This is a lifesaver!

Bliss Deep Detox Four Clay Souffle

This is a new product for me this month. Linda told me I need to do better at masking. I decided to take her advice when I told her I was getting annoying break outs on my chin. I remembered I had this mask from a press package, and decided to try it Sunday night. Masks aren’t really my favorite (mostly because I’m impatient and hate the mess), but I actually really enjoyed this one. It felt cool on my skin and only hardened when it got closer to the end of the 15 minutes. My skin felt really soft and wasn’t irritated at all — definitely going to try it again tomorrow!

Fresh Black Tea Kombucha Essence

I wanted to give you an update on this new product that I mentioned in last month’s Beauty Edit. I’ve been using this product for about a month now, and I’m starting to enjoy it. I’ve noticed my other products are soaking into my skin better after using the essence. My skin also feels brighter and more even. Overall, I think it’s a win-win when it comes to incorporating an essence into your routine.
