THANKSGIVING OUTFIT | sweater dress (similar), boots (flat version), choker, sunglasses, chanel bag
Am I the only one who thinks about their food baby when making clothing purchases?
Yeah? Just me? Okay then, moving right along…
With Thanksgiving LITERALLY AROUND THE CORNER (a week from today, like wut?), I’m starting to think about what I’m going to wear as a Thanksgiving outfit. I also wanted to add a few other ideas in case YOU’RE stumped on what to wear next week!
The “I’m So Fancy” Thanksgiving Outfit
If your Thanksgiving plans include a fancy dinner or something along the lines of that, I suggest wearing a comfortable dress, tights (if applicable), booties, and maybe a blazer over it for good measure.
The “It Doesn’t Matter What You Wear” Thanksgiving Outfit
This is kind of where my Thanksgiving looks like. I’m usually running around after my neice and nephews all day long while everyone else is contributing for the meal 😉 That’s why I always consider being comfortable…and I definitely need to take into account that I’ll probably be carrying 2 food babies after all of the food my family prepares. These jeans are my go-to when I want to feel put together, yet comfortable. They have SO much stretch and are pretty flattering overall. If I end up wearing jeans, I’m probably going to pair it with my new favorite blouse! To finish off the look, I’d throw my hair into a top knot and put on my comfy mules!
The “I Still Want To Look Cute For Pictures For My #OOTD” Thanksgiving outfit
You and I both know I’d be lying if I said I didn’t care about what I look like on Thankgiving. We all gotta get ready to take those #OOTDs to be uploaded to Instagram. RIGHT?! A comfy, cozy sweater dress will do the trick. I wore this tunic during our girls’ trip to the Hamptons a few weeks ago, and it was one of my favorite outfits from the trip! At first, I didn’t quite understand the off the shoulder sweater trend, but now that I have one, I totally get it…and I’m so obsessed!
