Spring Days in Central Park

Rain, rain go away….and don’t come back. Thanks.

The last week has been absolutely brutal when it comes to weather. I think Mother Nature is a liiiiiiiittle behind on the whole “April showers bring May flowers” thing.

When Spring finally decides to show up (which I think it might this week), I already have a list of things I want to do when the temperatures rise. And after shooting these photos, renting one of the row boats are at the top of my list.

And while I’m in the middle of changing over my closet from Fall/Winter to Spring/Summer, comes a whole new thought process about what I want to wear for the season. I know I chatted about my favorite Spring trends in this post, but I realized that (quite obviously) floral dresses are always going to be something I gravitate towards in the warmer months.

I love this dress for so many reasons: the silhouette, the check pattern with subtle florals and the feminine colors. The green mixed with the pink is one of my favorite color combinations right now – it’s a little more girly than I’m used to, but I’m certainly okay with that!
