Happy Halloween, everyone! I actually didn’t do anything to celebrate, but still had an amazing weekend. So that’s good, right?;) What about you? How was your weekend?
So the one thing I’m really excited for is to get photos of my niece and nephews in their costumes. I’m convinced they’re the best human beings in the entire world. And I cannot wait to see what they look like so I can laugh hysterically while I’m at work.
Anyway…enough about my little kiddies, they’re just too damn cute sometimes.
But we can definitely talk about this white dress for fall. We almost NEED to talk about it. When I was asked to pick out a few pieces from a pretty new-to-me brand to style on Pink Champagne Problems, I knew exactly what dress I wanted. (Hint: It was this one.) Because I’m on the short side of the height spectrum, it does mean a few limitations when it comes to styling looks. At least in my head it does.
I loved seeing the drop-waist trend on my favorite bloggers, but I felt like every single one I tried on drew too much attention to my hips. Rather than never trying the trend out, I took a chance with this dress, and fell in complete love with it. It seemed like the white dress for fall!
But GASP! WHO WEARS WHITE AFTER LABOR DAY?
I’m definitely not the girl who follows that rule. Actually, come to think of it, I don’t think many people follow that rule anymore. Good for us, honestly. That rule is so silly and deserves to be broken. I love the idea of a good white dress for fall because it gives off a refreshing vibe once the weather begins to cool down and it starts getting darker earlier.
Also, in addition to this little dress, my suede moto jacket came in clutch. The best part? I recently discovered it now comes in 7 (YES, SEVEN) different colors – I’m torn between the olive and light grey colors…but they’re different enough, no? I think I should just get both.
