I’m still only a little confused how it’s almost April (already?) and I’m still freezing. Luckily, I got a little teaser when I went to California. I loved going out in sleeveless pieces and feeling the sun. #BronzeGoddess …except not really.
You know when you’re scared to try a trend because of your body? Well, that’s how I feel about midi skirts. Finding clothes that really fit my 5’1 frame can be somewhat difficult. I’ve always loved midi skirts, but never thought I could wear them without shortening my stature even more. And then Cathy proved me wrong.
So I did what every normal shopaholic would do. I bought this skirt. And then Windsor offered to send me this skirt…so obviously I didn’t pass that up. And ever since then, I’ve been adding midi skirts to my shopping bags left and right.
And then I saw the most perfect pair of pink pumps…that I happen to have in two other colors. So I bought those too. (Yes, I realized I really need to stop shopping – more on that tomorrow.) I knew this would be the best brunch outfit while in California…I mean, who doesn’t love to brunch in a midi skirt?!
What’s your take on midi skirts? How do you wear them (and how tall are you)?
