Workin’ Hard

Sometimes you just need a space to go clear your head and just GSD (I know you know what that means).

Productivity is a huge thing for me – although I play it off like I’m a lazy person….I’m really not. I love the feeling of checking things off my to-do list: whether it’s for my blog, my career, or even errands on the weekend; it gives me all the satisfaction and in some ways, a sense of relief.

Having two completely separate full-time jobs can get stressful and often messy. Luckily, I was given the opportunity to spend some time in the WeWork space (thanks to smartwater). It was nice to be able to have a space that was completely dedicated to getting things crossed off my “Pink Champagne Problems To-Do List”.

The smartwater up up up lounge at WeWork was the perfect environment for working. It was quiet and had such a calming feel to it. The fact that there were endless amounts of smartwater was just the icing on the cake. Being able to have a place where I’m able to solely work on this little space of mine is so important to me, and this absolutely did it for me.

What’s even better about this workspace? I got to walk past people who were there doing the same thing I was: building and creating something. It was a pretty cool feeling to say the least.

Along with this collaboration came the Lunch & Learns. I attended one with Richard Clarkson – yes, the guy who created these little clouds in the WeWork space (he is an amazing artist, btw). The biggest and coolest thing I took away? When Richard said to stay forever curious about what you can do and how you could make a difference when you’re creating something.

Sure, I’m not here to change the face of blogging, but I’m here for many other reasons. Remember what we talked about in this post? I know there’s so much more I want to do with Pink Champagne Problems. I know there are so many more people to meet and brands to work with. Staying “forever curious” is the best part of blogging.

PS: Did you know Pink Champagne Problems was basically a happy little accident? I never intended on starting a blog. But when the opportunity arose to start one for my university’s admission’s office, I did it. And it turned into something more than I could have ever imagined. Pink Champagne Problems is now one of the biggest parts of me, it’s something I look forward to every day – creating content/looks that make people come here every day is a pretty special thing…and the fact that it’s led to a great little friendship between us is the best part of this.

This story is brought to you by smartwater, who believes in making progress every day little by little and sip by sip. That’s how you move up up up. As always, all thoughts are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that help make Pink Champagne Problems possible!
