Step By Step, Sip By Sip

Balancing two full-time jobs (yes, I absolutely consider this blog as another full-time job) can sometimes be difficult. There are times when I think to myself: “Why am I blogging?” or “Is this worth it?” or “Am I super happy doing this?”

Whenever I’m starting to get into a little rut, I always think about my ambitions and goals: where I want this blog to go, what I want to do with my career, etc. Taking a second to step back and think about these things really help me take bigger steps forward. This really helps me put things into perspective, and to shift my focus on better things.

For my career: I want to continue learning more about my role as a Merchandiser and become an integral part of my team. I’m so in love with what I have chosen as my career. Even though the industry is a tough one, I’ve been so lucky to have such amazing bosses and great coworkers. I’m still very new to the real world, which means I need to work extra hard to continue progressing in my career.

For this blog: I want to continue to connect with this amazing community whether it’s through collaborations or just a little Twitter conversation. Pink Champagne Problems has become such a part of who I am, and I can only hope that I can continue branding myself and that people keep coming here to my little space.

All in all, I truly believe that the little things in life are what help get you to where you want to go. Whether it’s getting ahead in your career, running a race faster than before, or just being an overall better person, the little things will help remind you why you’re doing what you’re doing.

And so, I’ll just leave you with this: “Ambitions don’t matter unless you fight to make them happen.”

This story is brought to you by smartwater, who believes in making progress every day little by little and sip by sip. That’s how you move up up up. As always, all thoughts are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that help make Pink Champagne Problems possible!
