The Silk Neck Scarf Obsession

Last year, I thought I was really into a good silk neck scarf. Little did I know, I’d out-do myself this Spring.

I also think I could 10000% live in this outfit. If I had to describe myself in an outfit, this would be it. I’m not really all that girly…and people even point out when I’m wearing something super girly (it’s almost unheard). Personally, I just prefer to wear comfortable, casual looks – sometimes with an edgy piece, sometimes preppy, you get the idea. And this look is what I’m all about when it comes to personal style.

You know how I feel about these jeans, or at least you should. I have to legitimately remind myself that I wear them almost every single day. So ya know, maybe I should give them a break, but nope. Can’t do it. Everything looks so much better with them (to me, at least). Again, this is NOT the last time you’ll see this pair of jeans.

Now, let’s talk about my obsession with a good silk neck scarf.

I never thought I could get on board with the trend because I didn’t think it looked “cool enough” on me. Once I got over that “fear”, I went on a silk neck scarf binge. I got three in one week. Just couldn’t help myself. They’re a really great accessory and help add that cool girl vibe to your outfit.

I also love how versatile a silk neck scarf can be!

  1. Tie them like a triangle bandanna (like I wore it here).
  2. Roll up and tie it in a knot (like in these photos ^^^).
  3. Use as a hair accessory – tie your ponytail with it!
  4. Make it a complementary accessory to your handbag!

If I haven’t convinced you that you need to get a silk neck scarf, then I am NOT doing my job;)
