My Newest Piece From Sezane New Arrivals

If you’re unfamiliar with Sezane, you can read more about the brand in this post. The Parisian brand has me drooling over delicious sweaters, fun prints, and overall just an amazing aesthetic. When I saw the latest Sezane new arrivals, I couldn’t help but browse and ended up making a purchase. Another thing to point out – their shipping. I ordered this on Sunday and it came on Wednesday – FROM FRANCE. We love that. We appreciate that.

Sezane New Arrivals Picks

This skirt was the first thing my eyes gravitated towards, and I added it to my cart SO fast. I didn’t want to mull it over and then it ends up selling out.

Sizing: I took the advice from Jessica’s blog post, and sized up. I was originally going to get my normal size, and I’m REALLY happy I didn’t. I think my normal size would have fit my waist perfectly, but it would have been too tight on my hips and thighs. So I DEFINITELY recommend sizing up.

Silhouette & Fabric: I love the fabric of this skirt – it’s a thick cotton with quilted stitching details. It’s not very fluid and because of the zip, you will need to adjust when going from sitting to standing. But it’s not something you’re going to be fussing with all day if that makes sense. The front zip with the patch pocket details are honestly CHEF’S KISS. They’re easy details that make this skirt different. If it were a pull on skirt, I still would have loved it because of the print…but the details here just make it even better.

How To Style: When I got this skirt, I immediately styled it and filmed a video because I was just obsessed. You can check it out here. I think this skirt is a lot more versatile than it might look. Boots in early Spring and Fall. Sandals and a tank in Summer. And you can definitely get away with wearing some tights when it’s a little too chilly

I also felt the need to pick up another cardigan. After owning the black for a few months, I just really loved how versatile it is. They’re extremely light weight, yet the wool keeps you warm. I also styled the black cardigan two different ways here. I got the color light beige, and I feel like it perfectly rounds out my neutral wardrobe. I know this is going to be a staple in my wardrobe for years. Sezane must think so too since it’s a basic style for them in a MILLION colors!
