I’m having very mixed feelings while sitting down to write this post.
On one hand, I’m pretty upset that there are only three weeks left of summer…mostly because of Summer Fridays. On the other hand, fall is my absolute favorite season, so I’m excited to pull out my cozy sweaters, start layering up, and sip on a hot chai latte without overheating.
Oh and let’s talk about not dying of a heat stroke on the subway (just kidding, that’s probably still going to happen when it’s below 0).
This fall, tons of new trends are popping up on the runway and in stores. Personally, I’m always a fan when military colors/pieces are on trend. I think military green is one of the most flattering colors for someone with my skin tone, so I definitely gravitate towards it when I’m shopping. Whether it’s a great top like this or cool skinny jeans, I always love having a few options in my wardrobe.
The best part about military green? It can be paired with tons of other colors! I love styling fall trends with denim because it really allows the fall piece to stand out! (Plus, boyfriend jeans are always a good idea.)
I’m not fully committed to wearing sweaters and jackets in 90 degree temperatures, but I’m not okay with spending a ton more money on summer clothes that I’ll be putting away in a month or so. Thankfully, Sears has some crazy good options at affordable prices!
I bought this top in two other colors because they were $13 each, so basically I couldn’t resist. When the weather finally cools off, I’ll definitely pair this top with a blazer and some booties.
