The Ripped Jeans Outfit

One time, I couldn’t figure out an outfit for the life of me, so I Googled “Ripped jeans outfit ideas”. And while I didn’t find anything that I really loved, an outfit idea did come to mind.

THE LOOK | off the shoulder top c/o, ripped jeans, handbag (rent here c/o), sunglasses, sandals c/o

I loved the idea of wearing looser straight leg ripped jeans with a fun off the shoulder top. I’ve had these ripped jeans since last summer, and I usually wore them with pretty casual shoes. They’re a bit low rise, so they definitely give off the casual vibe, but on this particular day I did something different.

I broke out my go-to nude sandals (which have honestly taken a beating over the past few months) and was ready to go. While it’s not as versatile as this recent look (a.k.a you can’t wear it to work), it can be worn for a lot of other occasions. I’m picturing a BBQ (I’d probably switch into these wedges), a country concert or even a weekend brunch!

These laid back jeans pair perfectly with a flirty/feminine top. I love the juxtaposition of these two pieces and the way they look when worn together. Of course, these ripped jeans would look great with a t-shirt and this top would look great with denim shorts or white jeans.

I am loving distressed denims so much too! I always have trouble styling it too, haha! Definitely going to opt for a look like this next time. I really like your nail polish color too, definitely going to paint my nails this color over the weekend. 🙂

I’m not one for ripped jeans, but I am loving the loose fit and the legs rolled up!
