How has Matt impacted your life?
I was asked this question a few weeks ago, but I wanted to save it until we got closer to Valentine’s Day. Matt has been in my life for about a year and a half and has been one of the most positive impacts on my life in many different ways. One of the coolest ways he’s impacted my life is on this blog. He’s been SO supportive of Pink Champagne Problems and tries to be so helpful with the smallest things. I’m actually going to be sharing a bit more about our relationship on Valentine’s Day, so stay tuned!
What was the biggest way of growing your blog?
I was lucky enough to start my blog in 2012, so I made a lot of relationships with other bloggers who were just starting out as well. Instagram was still in its early stages (there was still a lot of Valencia filters happening) and it was easier to share more candid moments without worrying about the amount of likes you’d receive. I also had much more time to engage with others – comment on their blogs, do guest posting, participate in link ups. Now, I continue to grow my blog by SEO tactics (which I’m still trying to master) and big social media pushes on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. It’s definitely tough to get your brand out there, but with a lot of dedication – you’ll make it work!

I did a lot of shopping this week. Like a lot. My London trip is quickly approaching, so I needed to prepare for that – duh;)
- These mom jeans would definitely make you a “cool mom” and not a regular mom. I love the embroidered details!
- I cannot get over how GOOD Abercrombie & Fitch has been lately. I picked up this adorable sweatshirt when I was looking for some other goodies for London. The reviews say it’s ridiculously soft and cozy…so I’m pretty excited to receive it!
- I mean I don’t think you could argue that these are the cutest floral loafers you’ve ever seen. I want them in black too!
- I’m going to keep talking about this cardigan until it sells out because I love it THAT much. Read more about it and see how I styled it in this post!
- On a whim, I purchased this handbag for London. I realized that I don’t have that big of a handbag collection (which I know makes outfit posts boring).

Yesterday was a bit of a lazy day. NYC got hit with a pretty serious blizzard and I got to take the day off – YIPPEE. That also was an amazing excuse to skip out on any post-work activities. I know NYFW is here and a lot of my favorite people are in town, but I just really wanted to do absolutely nothing for day…especially if it meant not having to trek through the storm in a not-so-cute-outfit.
Tonight I’m meeting Jenn and Kristyn at The Mermaid Inn for dinner and then probably heading out for a little fun while they’re in NYC. On Saturday, I’m going to try and shoot a few looks and then attempt to make the Jill Stuart show and then over to the Shopstyle Social House.
And then who knows what the rest of the weekend holds!

A little update: I lost about 5 pounds since working out anywhere from 3-4 times a week for the last month or so! I don’t really see too much of a difference in my appearance, but I feel myself getting stronger in the classes I take, so I’m really happy!
That being said, I only got to the gym twice this week (thanks to the terrible weather). So yeah, ya win some, ya lose some, right?

In a past #PopFizzChat, I mentioned that I wanted to share more favorite bloggers of mine – whether they’re friends or I just follow them religiously. Today, I wanted to chat about Grace of The Stripe. I couldn’t tell you how I found Grace’s blog, but I’ve been following her for quite a few years – back when she worked for Baublebar. Since taking her blog full time, I’ve followed Grace’s journey: awesome collaborations, getting real with her readers, and getting TONS of book recommendations. Oh and of course, great style. If you’re not following Grace, I highly recommend giving her blog a read – I don’t think you’ll be able to close out of her site!
I hope you enjoy this Pop! Fizz! Chat! series as much I enjoy writing and researching for it. If you ever have a question you’d like me to answer, feel free to shoot me an email, tweet me, send me a DM on Instagram, or ask it anonymously here!
