A weekly series dedicated to everything from life, travel and fashion Q&A, sale finds, weekend updates, sneak peeks and more!
I know it’s Saturday, but yesterday was kind of a blur to me. I was SO lazy, I couldn’t get this post up. Before we begin, I really wanted to say thank you to all of those who read, commented, shared, and messaged me about Wednesday’s post. It was the most read post on Pink Champagne Problems EVER in 2017. I was blown away by the response, and I’m so appreciative of all the support!
CHAMPAGNE TASTE
A little travel, life and fashion Q&A. I want to answer them ALL.
What kind of camera do you have to take your photos?
Although I usually have a photographer to take my photos (typically Allie), there are times when I need to get a quick shoot in. After consulting Allie, she said I really didn’t need anything fancy. I went with this body and this lens. I definitely would like to upgrade my lens soon – especially as I expand my travel portfolio on Pink Champagne Problems!
Your post on blogger drama was one of the more real posts from you. Was it hard to write?
OH HELL YES. It was really hard for me to put into words how I felt and dealt with the situation without giving too much away. Oh and without coming off like a complete B. So yeah, it was DEFINITELY tough to write. But I also had one intention in mind: To help bring to light that not everything is perfect in the blogging community and hopefully help out anyone who is going through a similar situation!
CHAMPAGNE FINDS
Here’s what I’m loving, buying and eyeing!
…..since Champagne Finds is all about what I’m loving right now….. let’s talk about DA REAL MVPs…OUR DADS (or whoever plays that “father-figure” role in your life!).
So I want to give my dad, Big Nick, a shout out in today’s post. Although he probably doesn’t read my posts, he definitely supports me and this blog 100%. He’s the hardest working man I know, and also the most caring guy ever. He would do anything for my family, and after what he’s been through the last year, I’m so proud he came out on top. My dad taught me how to ride a bike, how to play golf, and how to open my very own business. So cheers to you, Big Nick – my best buddy.
Wishing all of the fathers, uncles, cousins, brothers, mothers who play the father role and anyone else who does a kick ass job with their kids, a very happy Father’s Day. YOU ALL ROCK!
CHAMPAGNE REWIND
A little recap on readers’ favorite posts from the past few days and weeks.
Did you check out my recap of the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic? It was one of my most popular posts over the last month!
I talked about how hard it is to find white denim AND where I’ve found the best!
A little throwback outfit post: The cutest little white dress.
CHAMPAGNE TO GO
Ah, the jet set life…where to next?
I mentioned in this post that Matt and I are going to Newport, Rhode Island at the end of June. Which is already going to be here next week – CRAZY. I’m really excited to be staying with Gurney’s Newport – they’re just finishing up some amazing renovations and I can’t wait to share with you! I’m also so stoked to be having dinner at the latest Scarpetta location as well as spend the day at The Pineapple Club in one of their day beds!
Two vacations back to back are definite necessary, right?;)
And then once we’re back, it’ll basically be July – WHICH MEANS IT’S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH AND THE COUNTDOWN TO NASHVILLE IS ON. And yes, I’m going to be THAT girl wearing her team’s CHAMPIONSHIP shirt in the city they beat. FYI, The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday night. And it was awesome. #Back2Back
