Lou & Grey Supersoft Sateen Pant

Spring 2021 is definitely hitting different from other spring seasons, you know?

Let’s face it: We’re all ready for warmer weather. Although we’re still in the pandemic, things are definitely looking on the up. I got my first dose of the vaccine, and New York is just feeling alive. I know I’m not the only one who is slightly over sweatpants (not TOTALLY), just a liiiiiiiiiiittle. While I’m still gravitating towards comfort and ease, I’m reaching for more woven pieces instead of sweats during the day. You know by now that most of my wardrobe is Lou & Grey. When we were designing and assorting Spring, we were in the middle of the pandemic. We tried to remain as optimistic as possible when it came to things like color, silhouettes, and sweats in general. I did a try on session on Instagram a few weeks ago (all of my L&G try ons are saved in highlights), but I wanted to share my FAVORITE pants from Lou today!

Supersoft Sateen Pants

When I first started working for Lou & Grey, I remember trying on these pants and being like “THESE ARE MY PANTS. THESE ARE THE PANTS I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR MY WHOLE LIFE.” Now I know this is pretty dramatic for a pair of pants, but I swear they are THE BEST. They feel like the ultimate cool girl pant. They are THE best woven fabric. I own them in a few colors and honestly just look so good with flats and sneakers. I pair them back to tees, sweaters, sweatshirts, and tanks! To me, the Supersoft Sateen Pant is THE pant for comfort and ease.

I LOVE the colors we picked for this pant in Spring — this color is Apple Butter. It pairs PERFECTLY with our pink Linen Muscle Tee and icy pink Tie Dye Sweatshirt.

As far as sizing, I would size down if you’re between sizes in pants. When I first started working for Lou, I bought a small, and they definitely are a little too big for me now. I typically take an XS in all of our styles — they’re meant to be a relaxed, easy fit!
