It’s always a good day when you find an old, yet great, piece in your wardrobe.
Like this Kate Spade skirt. I bought this skirt when I worked at Kate Spade and we had an upcoming corporate visit (secretly just wanted Brad Goreski to show up). I had already owned a ton of Kate Spade items, but felt like I needed something better…..or I just really needed to use this excuse to shop. I paired it with an adorable silk blouse (the pattern was similar to this one) and some black pumps and I knew I was ready for our corporate visit.
I love how pencil skirts immediately give off that corporate vibe. This Kate Spade one just prove that they don’t necessarily need to be boring (unless you work in a super strict office). Another thing I love about this skirt? It can easily be paired with a casual chambray shirt.
I haven’t worn either of these pieces in over a year, so it was nice to pull them both out of my closet and pair them together!
