PUT A BOW ON IT

Playing dress up begins at age five and never truly ends.

Kate Spade is known for their whimsical patterns, prints, and pieces. I had such a great time when I worked there – mostly because of the sweet discount 😉 Kidding, but I did learn the importance of customer service, bold colors no matter the occasion,  and (my favorite lesson) a well-placed bow.

When I tried this dress on at the Kate Spade Flatiron store (great customer service!), I immediately knew it was coming home with me. I also loved this dress too – but then I’d have way too much of the same print…and KS dresses don’t come cheap 😉 (For size reference: I’m wearing a 0, which is my normal size.)

(I may or may not have picked up this wallet as a little Christmas present to myself.)

Did I really need this dress? No, probably not at the moment. But that’s the great thing about Kate Spade dresses. You’ll have them for years, and eventually, an event is going to pop up (I wore the Caroline dress to my sister’s bridal shower after having it for 3 years). So that’s kind of how I justified buying it.

Side note: If you ever need me to justify a purchase for you, just ask. I will ALWAYS be able to justify it 😉

Although my style is fairly minimal, it was a no-brainer why I was drawn to this dress. I know the print is pretty loud BUT it certainly doesn’t need any additional pieces – it’s too perfect all on it’s own! And I mean, come on, that bow? There couldn’t be a better element to a dress.

…but until some fun or fancy event happens, I’ll just keep twirling around in it on the streets of Manhattan 😉
