FEATHER PRINT SKIRT

Let’s face it. We all have the same feeling: Monday’s suck.

Seriously, whoever created the 5-day/40-hour work week (I believe it was Henry Ford) is SO NOT COOL. I think we would all be ecstatic if we had a 3-day weekend and 4-day work week. Shall I start a petition? 😉

I’m not going to lie, I always need a kick in the butt on Mondays. Sometimes that kick in the butt happens when I’m standing in front of my closet trying to find something to wear to work. Normally, I would opt for something super comfy and cozy (especially in the freezing temps).

BUT…the weather is warming up slowly, but surely, which means this feather print mini wanted to come out to play. I decided to go the more classic route with this look (as opposed to a chunky turtleneck, half-tucked of course) and paired the skirt with a turtleneck tee and go-to blazer.

I wore my simple black pumps and these amazing Elizabeth & James sunglasses (scroll down to see how you can get these sunnies fo’ free!) to complete my “kick-me-in-the-butt” look. And honestly, it does help make Mondays a liiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit better when you feel dressed to impress.
