The Edit
I’ve decided that Mother Nature really needs to cool it with the snow. We got pummeled by a storm on Wednesday -_- It meant a snow day for me, but we are SO busy at work, so it wasn’t ideal.
This week was supposed to be all about pampering myself: Got my lashes done on Monday, and I was supposed to go to Shape House on Wednesday night, but the snow clearly ruined those plans, and today I’m heading for a blowout at Drybar. On Tuesday, I went into Brooklyn for the Penguins/Islanders game — tough loss, but I always love seeing the Penguins when they’re in New York. I don’t have too many set plans tonight and tomorrow, but on Sunday, my sister and I are going to see Justin Timberlake.
For those of you who don’t know, I love Justin Timberlake more than anything else. It all started when I was seven years old, and has only grown since then. My sister and I have seen him A LOT. I think about 15 times to be exact. My first concert was when I was seven at Westbury Music Hall in Long Island…and Britney was their opening act. The venue was so small, they were standing right in front of us. I’ll never forget it. Since then, I’ve seen NSYNC and Justin Timberlake at Madison Square Garden about 4 times, Giant Stadium (RIP), Fenway Park in Boston (JT & Jay Z), Citizens Bank Park in Philly (Justin & Jay Z), IZOD Center in New Jersey, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Worth every penny? OBVIOUSLY (and I think my parents would agree — thanks Mom and Dad)! I still could cry when it gets closer to a concert date. We’re also going to see him again in October when he comes back to MSG. I’m VERY thankful my sister shares this love for Justin Timberlake with me, because I would otherwise be going to concerts by myself;)
OKAY RANT OVER. I don’t mean to brag, but there’s nothing I enjoy more than going to see Justin Timberlake perform live!
In other news, I guess my travel post couldn’t have come at a better time BECAUSE Allie and I booked a spontaneous trip yesterday! In three weeks, we’re going to head to Seattle! I’ve never been before, but I’m SO excited. My boss absolutely loves Seattle, so I’m really happy we’re going. Allie found out there’s a gorgeous tulip festival, so I got excited to get a taste of Spring!
Have you ever been to Seattle? Would love to hear your recs!
