Elle’s Edit: My Favorite Fall Recipes

When we think of Fall, baking and cooking always come to mind.

I’m sure you are over (or here for it) people talking about all things pumpkin. It can be overwhelming. Fall is so much more than pumpkin overload. When I think of Fall, I do think of pumpkin flavored goods but also enhanced spices of nutmeg/cinnamon, apples, warm meals, and comfort food. Over the past couple of years I have become more experimental when it comes to the kitchen and I always get inspired in the Fall. So join me by taking out your crockpot and put on your apron and get cooking with me!

Baked Goods

Rachel Mansfield is one of my favorite humans because she is so creative in the kitchen and has some AMAZING baked good recipes. She also lives in Hoboken, NJ and I’ve seen her a couple times walking to work but obviously too shy to say hi! Anyways, some of my favorites that I’ve tried/want to try include her pumpkin bread, banana bread granola, apple blondies, banana bread crumb cake, and chocolate chip oatmeal bars.

Meals

When I think of Fall, I think of my Crockpot. This thing is my baby and I use it all the time. Some of my favorite recipes to use in my crockpot are White Bean Chicken Chili, Quinoa Chicken Kale Soup, and Chicken Pot Pie Soup. I am also very excited to announce that this is the first year (since I was SEVEN) where I can have true chili. Yes, the chili with tomatoes. If you didn’t know, I’ve been allergic to tomatoes since I was seven but this April it went away! Some of my other favorite fall recipes include these Brussels Sprouts, Curry Roasted Cauliflower Sweet Potato Salad, and Roasted Butternut Squash Couscous Bowls.

Drinks

Katie of Katies Bliss always shares her infamous spicy pumpkin margaritas on Instagram and I really want to try them! They look delicious. But when it comes to fall drinks, I love me a good chai, warm apple cider, and hazelnut coffee.

What are some of your favorite fall recipes?
