Why The Change Of Season Is Good For Productivity

If you’ve been a reader of Pink Champagne Problems for quite some time, you might have figured out that Fall is my favorite season.

I could honestly go on and on about why Fall is by far my favorite season ever.

Today I wanted to focus on just how the change of season helps me get in a better mindset for creating new content on Pink Champagne Problems. When it comes to Fall, it’s by far my most productive season in terms of the blog. Here are some of the ways I think Fall, and a change of season, helps you be more productive.

Switch up your style & be more creative

Yup. My favorite part of Fall: the fashion! I no longer need to worry about having too many clothes on when taking the subway or shooting outside in the humidity. Instead of only wearing cut off denim and a tank top to stop myself from melting, I can get more creative with my outfits because of the change of season. I am ALL about the layers in Fall – the more, the better. So bring it on. I  just can’t wait to break out Fall pieces (and shop for new things, see this post here for what I’ve recently purchased): cozy sweaters, ponte pants, blazers, etc. Honestly, I just feel like I’m living my best life in Fall;) I’m excited to bring new outfit inspiration to you for the upcoming months!

Hit the refresh button

With the change of season, I feel like I can hit the refresh button on life. I always feel so motivated once Fall rolls around. Maybe it’s the crisp air, the change of colors, or the shorter days, but I gain all new types of inspiration during this season. My mindset completely changes in the best way, and I’m ready to hit the ground running. I can imagine this is how people feel about “Spring cleaning”…except I’m the opposite. The change of season allows me to simply start fresh: with work, with the blog, with my wardrobe, you get the idea. I’m looking forward to finishing out 2017 (holy crap, how am I already talking about the end of the year?) on a strong note.

A time to work on new things

I’m working on an INSANELY fun and scary project with Linda. It’s most likely not going to launch until 2018, but boy, we are so excited to get started. I was telling her the other day that I was ridiculously motivated to start working on this with her. It’s been on my mind for quite some time, and I can’t believe I’m actually telling you that something big is happening!

As the weeks go on, you might be seeing more and more teasers for our upcoming project – stay tuned!

And whenever my hair is up, just know it’s because I haven’t been to Drybar…and forgot how to do my own hair 😉 Blazers are the best – and you wear yours SO well! xx

Oh my gosh, this outfit is everything! You look incredible 🙂 I sometimes find that I lose a bit of motivation in the fall for some reason (I find myself wanting to just curl up under blankets and forget about responsibilities!) but this post was really motivating! I can see how fall would bring out creativity and be a good time to refresh. Excited to hear more about this big project of yours!

Aww, thank you so much, Mia! That means a lot!
And I know, trust me there are definitely days when I just want to curl up on the couch and do nothing but there are so many great things about fall, it’s a completely new time period to just hit refresh for sure! And I’m SO looking forward to sharing more with you about this project. It’s going to be a good one!
