You know you have an obsession with certain boots when they’re featured in a ton of your blog posts. (More on that later.)
Once the weather actually feels like Fall, I’m all about those leaf-y looking hues. You know what colors I’m talking about: those orange-y, yellow-y, beige-y colors that really POP when you wear them.
That’s why when I saw this dress from one of my go-to local/online boutiques, I knew I needed to have it! My favorite dresses to wear are swing dresses (similar post here) because of how insanely comfortable they are. I hate super fussy dresses; they end up just making me self-conscious and then I constantly pull at them. Whenever I’m feeling in the mood to shop, one of the first thing I usually search for is “swing dresses“.
When it comes to styling a swing dress for fall, I almost always pair it with over the knee boots. It just allows me to not have to wear tights (ew) and my most favorite pairs of shoes are over the knee boots – so it really just works out perfectly. I snagged these beauties at the Nordstrom sale and have not regretted my purchase. Never in a million years would I have thought I’d love a pair of shoes the way I loved first pair of over the knee boots (see below for more of my favorite over the knee boots posts) – but boy, was I wrong. This pair in particular gives off a bit more of a casual vibe, even with the heel. The best part? They’re super comfortable and so easy to walk in! Okay fine, another best part? They come in three colors! YIPPEE!
