I’ve never considered myself a denim type of gal. But when I was changing my wardrobe over from spring to fall, I realized I own a ton of denim. So what do I do? Add some the best denim jeans to my wardrobe.
In my defense, Aeropostale’s denim is seriously some of the best denim jeans ever.
One of my best friends worked there in high school (actually, two of them worked there for a little bit), and I remember when I bought my very first pair of boyfriend jeans. I was obsessed with them. They were seriously everything I was looking for and I had them until I went to college…and then, ya know, the freshman 15 hit me real quick.
I was so excited to partner with Aeropostale and Her Campus to kick off the holiday season in my best jeans denim ever. I’m going to be honest, I haven’t been shopping at Aeropostale in quite some time. So when I went to do some pre-event shopping, I was SO surprised. I couldn’t believe how great their latest collection was: Cozy sweaters, tons of denim styles and fits, plaid flannels, and the best PJ sets!
I wore these boyfriend jeans for a casual Saturday afternoon with my friends, and they are THE BEST DENIM JEANS. They feel broken in as soon as you purchase them, which makes them an easy choice when you want to wear something comfortable. I’ve paired them with t-shirts and sweaters, heels and sneakers, and no matter what, they look good. Much like my very first pair of boyfriend jeans, I know these are going to be in my closet for many years.
Next up: this sweater and these jeans. I mean they just go perfectly together. I never thought I’d be into a pair of frayed denim (mostly because I didn’t think I could pull them off), but here we are. I knew I wanted to wear something a bit more “fun” to the event last week, and these were perfect. I chose to wear this cozy sweater to mix and match the vibes…and to stay warm. This sweater is probably one of the softest sweaters I own. Chenille is really big for fall/winter, so I’ve been stocking up on a few pieces. I was so excited to find this sweater, and I just love the color!
This outfit was perfect for a night of shopping too. I picked up some new PJs (as well as a pair for my sister…because I’m nice), listened to some great music from the DJ, stocked up at the candy bar, and watched nail artists give fresh manicures with Swarovski. It was such a fun night out with one of my favorite brands from many years ago.
I think it’s safe to say my love for the brand has been rekindled! What do you think?
