7 Fall Wardrobe Essentials

Last week was all about shoes, and this week is all about the clothes. Fall is my FAVORITE time for fashion. I just love the idea of layers on layers, crisp air, and all the coziness before we have to throw on our puffer jackets (speaking of, this is my newest go-to winter jacket).

7 Fall Wardrobe Essentials

Shackets

Yes, I’m 100000% still on the shacket trend. I just love them so much. They add so much to an outfit. I love how easy they are, how many different patterns and prints they come in. If you head to this post here, you’ll find 9 different ways to wear a shacket – it’s all the inspo you’ll need this fall and winter. This one was one of my favorites from last year.

Felted Hat

Oh the beauty of a hat. This one was my go to all of last year. I think it’s THE perfect fall hat, and a great outfit-completing accessory. I’ve worn it ALL over Instagram, and I think the price point is perfect. It’s also adjustable, which I love!

Beanies

When I want to be a bit more casual…or just keep my head warm, I gravitate towards beanies. There are two in particular that I LOVE: the Something Navy cashmere beanie (mine is a little different than this year’s updated version) and the Rebecca Minkoff traveler’s rib beanie (it seems like they didn’t bring it back this year, but they have them on eBay and Poshmark).

Chain Link Jewelry

I’ve been very into chain link jewelry this year. I’ve purchased a few necklaces and rings. I think they’re the perfect fall accessory. I just purchased these rings and think they’re so adorable. I also love Caitlyn’s new collaboration with Electric Picks!

Straight Leg Jeans

I’m all about a slightly loose fitting jean. I’m all for the effortless cool girl outfit, and I think jeans like this definitely help give off that vibe. My favorite places to shop for straight leg jeans or mom jeans are Abercrombie or Madewell!

Ponte Leggings

I’ve been wearing ponte leggings since I was in college – shout out to the J.Crew Pixie PantThen I found the LOFT seamed ponte legging and fell in love with them. They’re SO good when you want to have a slightly elevated look. I wear them with sweaters mainly. I also have to give a shout out to our Lou & Grey ponte legging.
