5 Black Owned Businesses To Shop At NOW // Blackout Day 2020

Today is Blackout Day. The day is about economically supporting Black owned businesses

I wanted to share a few businesses I’ve purchased from as well as new shops I’ve recently come across!

Shop Amber Richele

I’ve been friends with Amber for A LONG TIME (except we’ve never met IRL, heheh). When she started her business, I knew it was going to be so successful. The fire Amber has under her ass (pardon my French) is incredible. She is SUCH a hard worker, and puts 100% into EVERYTHING she does. I LOVE my pieces (tie dye set above is from her shop) so much. They’re really great and HANDMADE! I can’t wait to see what Shop Amber Richele does next.

OMA The Label

I came across this shop on Instagram JUST in time for the launch of their new collection. I was actually only able to snag one of the pieces I was eyeing. I put it on when it came in and haven’t taken it off since!

The Lip Bar

Even though I don’t really wear make up, sometimes I’m a sucker for a red lip. These reds from The Lip Bar look RIGHT up my alley!

Salone Monet

This company sells two silhouettes in nude. And no not just ONE nude. ALL NUDES. Salone’s shoes are made in Italy. Also PS: Did you know nude shoes are meant to elongate your legs? *Runs and buys a pair*

The Lit Bar

This is the bookstore I’ve been browsing when creating my upcoming reading list. I found them through a website that listed many Black owned bookstores, and found this one that was located in New York City.

Where are you shopping today?
