HAPPY NEW YEAR & WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG, THE CHAMPAGNE EDIT!
Can you believe it? I’m still a little shocked I hit publish on this post. I alluded to this new blog change on Instagram last week, and the response I got was overwhelmingly amazing, so I knew it was going to be ok.
Yup, that’s right. Pink Champagne Problems is no more. *tears*
I’m trying to make this new blog change as seamless as possible because the only difference is a new name, URL, and layout. But when I think about it, what started as a hobby in my college dorm room in 2012, has become a HUGE part of my life. So in reality, this is a huge change for me.
Over the last few months, I started doubting Pink Champagne Problems (as a name). Although I love Pink Champagne Problems, I love the background of this blog, and love the brand I created, it just didn’t feel like “me” anymore.
In reality, I’ve simply outgrown Pink Champagne Problems.
And although this may have seemed like it happened over night, a lot of work went into it, but I did everything all on my own. It feels so nice to be able to hit “refresh” and kick off this new chapter in my blogging career.
Here’s how I knew it was time to re-brand to a new blog
- I was sick of saying Pink Champagne Problems
- I was second guessing my content
- I wanted to feel excited going into 2018
What to expect in 2018…
Better content. More content. Different content.
I’m sticking to my guns when it comes to giving you different content. Again, my main focus will always be fashion on this new blog, but I want to continue creating meaningful content for my readers. So while there’s a name change, I’m still keeping my content as my main focus. The Champagne Edit is meant to be a place that truly reflects me, and the edit that is my amazing and crazy life.
And for you, my reader…
I can’t express how grateful I am. Not only do I love this space for my own personal gain, but I also love that I get to connect with people here. It’s pretty cool that I can have a special place to talk to people with about this crazy community. I’ve gained so much from this blog, and I feel honored that I get to continue to grow in this space. If you reached out to me last week, I can’t tell you how much you’ve helped me through this transition. I was so nervous, but with your sweet words, I knew this was going to be a great thing for my blog and my business.
I will be sharing more over the next few weeks about the re-brand and new blog, but please browse around the site and let me know your thoughts!
